So, without any further ado, please check out the below interview. Hope you like!

Questions:

1.  Thank you for taking the time to catch up with us at Good Loco photography studio hire Sydney. We’ve touched on a brief introduction, but could you please tell us a bit more about what you do exactly?

I started my own photography business Four Minutes to Midnight in 2014. Four Minutes to Midnightphotography majors in the music, film and advertising industry.

I started in concert photography and never missed a gig at Sydney’s Underground Oxford Art Factory. I cut my teeth by photographing live music in a mosh pit.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with Canon Australia, Monster Children and 20th Century Fox. Currently, I spend most of my time developing my own photo studio Sky Studios located in the inner west.

2. When people are looking for the right photographer for their events, what kind of things should they be looking for and taking into consideration?

It takes more than a good eye to take great photos. A lot of my clients are looking for loyalty, responsibility, good communication skills and an ability to produce quality images with a quick turnaround time.

3. When the phrases ‘cheap photography studio hire’ / ‘cheap photography studio hire Sydney’ pop up, should people steer clear of these? Or are there some hidden gems out there that are affordable and of a high quality?

When starting photography, I always thought anything with the word ‘cheap’ in it was bad. This isn’t true. There are many great cheap photography studio hire options in Sydney and its worth trying out. I’ve found a few cheap studio hires that have saved the day in low budget photography and at the end of the day it doesn’t matter - as long as you can work with what you have. I’ve done well working out of some odd spaces such as offices, garages and cheap studios. You’ve got to think smart, but isn’t a challenge nice?

4. When you’re looking at photography studio hire for your projects, what type of features and services are you mainly looking for?

When looking for photography studio hire the features, I mostly look for are:

-  Cleanliness

-  Not overly priced

-  Freshly painted walls or Cyclorama

-  Great customer service

-  Possibly extra c-stands/stands and lighting gear included

-  Desks

-  Easy access for clients

-  Crew parking + somewhere close to bump in and out

-  A space for makeup / stylist and client while shooting

5. From looking at the gallery on our website, what type of shoots would be best suited at Good Loco photography studio Sydney?

Good Loco photography studio Sydney is an awesome space at an amazing price. It has all the essentials for a great studio. Large spaces are amazingly versatile. I would shoot any photography style from fashion, product, content photography and even TVCs.

6. Since Good Loco photography studio Sydney has just launched, we’re quickly noticing the depth of aspiring talent that stretches across our great city. Do you have any favourite emerging photographers that people should be checking out?

I would highly recommend checking out the great emerging artists that are Josh Groom, Charlie Hardy and Tom Wilkinson.
